Beach volleyball champions

FALL RIVER: Two Fall River beach volleyball players have captured the championship at the Under-18 Atlantic Beach Volleyball championships in Parlee Beach.

Britney Plume and Charlotte Lamontagne, who just recently graduated from Lockview High, went undefeated during the full day of on the beach action at the popular New Brunswick beach.The two comprised the lone Nova Scotia entry among the six teams in the U18 women’s division.

Both also compete on the Atlantic Beach volleyball tour, where they have been performing quite well this season.

Plume and Lamontagne will head to the beach volleyball nationals in Toronto next month representing N.S.
