Dragon girls to play for metro rugby title

BURNSIDE: The Lockview High Dragons girls rugby team will battle the schools sports nemesis Citadel High for all the marbles on Saturday at Harbour East.

Lockview, behind the four tries from offensive spark-plug Olivia Hill, downed C.P. Allen 39-24 in one semifinal game on May 24 at the field in Burnside.

Annika Heighway, Katie Cox, and Sophie Beck each added a try apiece. Brooklyn Peyton had two converts for Fall River-based Lockview.

Meanwhile, Citadel trounced Cole Harbour 44-5 to punch their ticket to the final, set for May 26 at Harbour East. Game time against Lockview is 2 p.m.
