RCMP spokeswoman Cpl. Jen Clarke said police received a 911 call at 3:02 p.m. about a motorcylce crashing into the ditch at Kelly Road and Highway 2, just past Laurie Park heading towards Fall River.

Cpl. Clarke had few details to provide as of 3:30 p.m. She said the cause of the incident is under investigation. In a tweet at 3:50 p.m., Halifax Fire said Hwy 2/Kelly Road area would be shut down until further notice.
