FALL RIVER: The Halifax Mooseheads have called up Jonathan Pickrem to the team for their game tonight, Jan. 8, in Bathurst.

One of the Mooseheads’ two goalies is sick with the flu, so Pickrem of Fall River will sit on the bench as a back up with the team that drafted him last year as the Herd battles Acadie-Bathurst.

Pickrem currently has an 8-6 (won-loss) record with the Steele Subaru Major Midgets. He has a 2.82 Goals Against Average.

He commented on getting called up.

“I’m very excited for the opportunity,” said Pickrem.
