Laker-EVENTS

FALL RIVER: A Fall River dancer is one of four finalists for BACKSTAGE: Studio Pass, a web series coming to Family Channel’s YouTube channel.

Brooklyn Law, who now lives in Bedford and attends Summit Academy, was among those who auditioned for one of the four spots. Casting representatives from the Family Channel went to four cities across Canada in their search for one dancer to preform in a new Josh Bogert music video with the cast of Backstage.

Law earned one of the four finalist spots, and now needs your help to win.

“I’m super excited for this,” said Law. “This is a big opportunity for myself.”

The 10-year-old is training to be a professional dancer and this opportunity would mean the world to her.

“More than 500 people auditioned so to be one of the finalists, especially from the Maritimes, is super awesome,” she said. “We don’t get as many opportunities as other people in bigger cities, so it is a huge honour.”

You can help Law out by voting (and voting often) for her by checking out www.backstagestudiopass.com and vote, which opened Dec. 15. Voting closes Jan. 6, 2018.
