2nd Beaver Bank Cubs give back

BEAVER BANK: The 2nd Beaver Bank Cubs are learning about giving back to those less fortunate.

On March 26, members of the youth group delivered 50 hygiene kits to Beacon House in Lower Sackville. They had gone out into the community to fundraise for money which was used to purchase the supplies needed for the kits.

Besides the donation, the Cubs were given a tour of Beacon House by Rod Rowlands, Beacon House General Manager. He also spoke to the group about how the food bank works to help the community. He answered all the great questions the cubs had and it was a very successful visit.

The 50 hygiene kits will help out in the community.
