Fury volleyball offering development camp

FALL RIVER: The Fall River Fury volleyball club will be holding a development camp for boys and girls in Grade 6-9 on March 12.

The camp, where participants who want to learn or improve their volleyball skills, will be held at the Gordon R. Snow Community Centre. Each session will have age appropriate skills development drills, followed by game play.

The camp will take place March 12 from 5-7 p.m.; March 13 from 4-6 p.m., and March 15 from 5-8 p.m.

For the camp, the fee is $45 per athlete if a member of the Fury Volleyball club or $60 per athlete if not a registered Fury athlete.

Coaching staff will include David Davis (Lockview High School Girls coach, Fury U17 coach, Fury Club Director), Derek Fleming (Avonview High coach, Fury U17 assistant coach), and players from the U17 Fury Girls team.

To register: Registration will be confirmed with receipt of a signed copy of the registration form and payment in form of cheque (payable to Fall River Fury U17) or etransfer can be arranged. Registration can be mailed to Shelley Boutilier, 102 Lakeland Street, Beaver Bank, NS, B4G 1A6.
