WAVERLEY: Halifax songstress Christine Campbell capped off the Summer Concert Series fun at the Village Green in Waverley on Aug. 12.

The Justin Wood Band opened for the singer, who was accompanied by Blake Johnston on stage before a good sized crowd under sunny skies next to Rocky Lake Drive.

Volunteers from the Waverley Legion manned the BBQ and were kept busy.

The concert series was put on by the Waverley Community Association (WCA).
