LOWER SACKVILLE: Playing on home turf at Weir Field as co-hosts of the 2026 Baseball Nova Scotia 18U AA Provincial Championships, the Tri County Rangers battled their way through five games and finished the weekend as 2026 Provincial Champions.

Tri-County opened the tournament with a strong 6-2 win over Hammonds Plains, before dropping a close 11-9 game to East Hants.

With their season on the line Saturday, the Rangers pulled out a nail-biting 9-8 win over Amherst to earn their place in the semi final on Sunday.

From there, they didn’t look back.

Tri-County advanced through the semifinal with a dramatic 19-12 win against Dartmouth to earn a spot in the championship game against the Petit-de-Grat Red Caps.

And when it mattered most, the Rangers delivered — defeating Petit-de-Grat 4-2 to capture the 2026 18U AA Baseball Nova Scotia Provincial Championship!

Throughout the weekend, a number of Rangers were recognized as Players of the Game:

#8 Jack Beaver
#27 Cohen Marson
#23 Carter Williams
#3 Brady Tovell

#8 Jack Beaver (again!) – who pitched a complete game in the final!

This championship was a full-team effort — five games, plenty of pressure, some very close baseball, and a group that kept finding a way to compete right through the final out.

To make the weekend even more special, the Rangers did it in front of family, friends and their home baseball community.
