FALL RIVER: The Lockview High Dragons have completed their Capital Region volleyball season with a perfect record.
On Thursday night Nov. 19, the Dragons capped off their metro league season capturing the Capital Region Division 1 volleyball championship in straight sets over Halifax West.
Halifax West put in a valiant effort, but the Dragons players were focused on the task at hand and completing their season undefeated.
Lockview defeated Halifax West by scores of 25-14; 25-17; and 25-15 before a supportive home crowd at the Fall River school.
For the Dragons, Taven Stevenson was the player of the game.
Halifax West’s Rylee Johnston earned the honour for her efforts for HW.
The Dragons now advance to provincials as the Capital Region champions in two weeks. Halifax West also advances as the runner-up.
