DARTMOUTH: The Action Benefits Penguins are holding a special game that means a lot to the players, especially one that is from Windsor Junction.
The Pens will be holding their Pink in the Rink game this Saturday at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth.
Game time for the Maritime Major Female Hockey League game against the Cape Breton Lynx is set for 5:30 p.m.

Kaitlyn Langille, one of the teams goalies and in her senior year with the Pens, is organizing the “Stops Against Cancer” fundraiser.
“It essentially came to me since I am a senior for the Pens and wanted to make a difference,” said Langille in a recent interview. “I wanted to support a cause extremely personal to me.”
So Langille and the team decided to start and participate in this fundraiser for the month of October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Stops Against Cancer essentially will see the team add up how many saves the two goalies—Langille and Beaver Bank’s Cicely Harnum—make during the month and add that on top of donations made.
If anyone is interested in donating or more information they can email the stops4cancer@gmail.com or message the Action Benefits Penguins social accounts (Facebook or Instagram preferred).
Langille has one request of fans for Oct. 28.
“We want to pack the stands,” she said with an excited smile.
