TRAFFIC:
Summer traffic contributed to an increase in Motor Vehicle Act offence.
Speeding accounted for the majority of summary offence tickets issued.
Community Awareness
Drivers are reminded to be patient at police checkpoints aimed at impaired driving enforcement and road safety.
It is illegal to flash headlights or post checkpoint locations online, as doing so may hinder police from detecting impaired or prohibited drivers.
