HALIFAX: The National Hockey League (NHL) and National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) announced NHL STREET Harbour Fest, supported by the Halifax Regional Municipality, set for September 12-13, 2026, at the Emera Oval in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Registration is now open for the two-day street hockey festival celebrating hockey, connection and community.
NHL STREET Harbour Fest will bring 3-on-3 street hockey to Halifax for players of all ages and skill levels. Youth divisions will feature players aged 7 to 18, while adult divisions will include recreational, intermediate, competitive, co-ed and women’s categories.
All teams are guaranteed three games throughout the weekend, and each participant will receive a special NHL STREET keepsake.

In addition to the on-pavement competition, NHL STREET Harbour Fest is being planned as a community celebration featuring food, music, try-hockey opportunities and fan experiences.
A full lineup of NHL partners are expected to host interactive activations throughout the weekend. Additional details will be announced at a later date.

Built around the spirit of community, NHL STREET Harbour Fest reflects the League’s ongoing commitment to making hockey more accessible, welcoming and engaging for new and existing participants.
The event will bring together players, families and fans for a shared celebration of the game in one of Canada’s most vibrant waterfront cities.

NHL STREET Harbour Fest also marks the launch of a broader series of NHL STREET events across North America, designed to build momentum around the League’s grassroots hockey efforts and create more community-based opportunities for youth in local markets.
As NHL STREET continues to expand through Club programming, school-based initiatives, community partnerships and marquee activations, the series will help introduce new participants to the game while deepening year-round connections to hockey.
