HALIFAX: Following a post-race review of Saturday’s event at the Mr. Lube + Tires 150, Maritime Pro Stock Tour officials have issued a penalty to the #40 car of Robbie MacEwen for on-track conduct.

Upon review of the cool-down lap, it was determined that the #40 car intentionally retaliated against another competitor after the checkered flag.

In accordance with their June 2 procedural update and MPST Rule 27.3 regarding intentional contact after a race has concluded, the #40 car has been issued an Unfurled Black Flag.

Under Rule 2.1, this results in a complete disqualification from the event.

This means that Ayden Christensen of Windsor Junction, wheelman of the no. 24 and a rookie on the tour moves up from fourth place to his first podium of the season and his PST career.
