HALIFAX: ROOTED Gala, a first-of-its-kind, farm-to-table culinary event celebrating local food and farming, is proud to announce its exceptional Chef line-up who will transform local farm produced ingredients into plates of culinary artistry.
The renowned Nova Scotia culinary team for ROOTED Gala includes:
Chef Jason Lynch, Grand Pre – Le Caveau Restaurant, Cumin Kitchen & Drink and The Black Spruce Restaurant
Chef Alain Bosse, Pictou – The Kilted Chef and Atlantic Canada’s culinary ambassador
Chef Stephanie Ogilvie, Halifax – Reta’s Restaurant and Top Chef Canada season 8 Finalist

ROOTED will feature five courses celebrating a different aspect of farming in Nova Scotia highlighting the ingredients’ journey from farm to plate and the timeless relationship between our farmers and the soil.

This country-chic evening brings together community members, local businesses, 4-H supporters and generous people who care about where their food comes from and believe in empowering youth – 4-H members who are essential to building strong, vibrant communities, farms and a resilient food system.
Proceeds from ROOTED support 4-H Nova Scotia programming – helping young people across the province develop leadership skills, pursue their passions and contribute meaningfully to the future of their communities and our province.
