FALL RIVER: Just in time for the sunny summer that lays ahead, it’s time to get your vehicle all cleaned up to hit the road.

Why not start by having firefighters from Station 45 Fall River; Station 42 Wellington; and Station 41 Waverley make your vehicle look sparkling new, all in support of Cap Courage First Responder Society.

Camp Courage introduces young women to careers as first responders, whether that’s as a paramedic; firefighter; or police officer. The camp provides information, education, and opportunities to experience the physical demands of these roles. It is offered once every two years; it will occur this summer and in 2021.

The car wash, which is by donation, is set for Station 45 in Fall River (the Gordon R. Snow Community Centre), located at 1359 Fall River Road from 10 a/.m. to 3 p.m. Rain date is May 12, at the same time.

Word is that Sparky the Fire Dog may even be making an appearance at the event.
