Fall River’s Joyful Sounds to offer classes inspired by Disney Junior Series Mira, Royal Detective

FALL RIVER: Joyful Sounds Music Studio is now offering a limited-time music class highlighting Disney Junior’s newest animated series, Mira, Royal Detective.

This collaborative effort with Kindermusik® International, the world’s leading provider of music-based education for infants, toddlers, and young children, will feature music from the series (which is inspired by the cultures and customs of India) and follows the brave and resourceful Mira, a young girl who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the Queen.

Designed for young toddlers through age 7, this 45-minute interactive music and movement class will be available between August 6-15 and will feature music from the series, which touches upon a variety of South Asian musical styles, including Bollywood, pop, classical, folk, fusion, and more.

Children will be able to sing and dance along, learn to problem-solve like Mira, and celebrate the vibrant culture of India, while experiencing all the benefits of a traditional Kindermusik class, including boosts in early childhood development.

“We are so excited to offer this very special class to our community,” said Louise MacDonald, owner of Joyful Sounds. “Whether you have a Mira, Royal Detective fan at home or are just looking for a virtual or outdoor in-person music class that’s different from the rest, this experience checks all the boxes.

“It’s an honor to host an experience where children can freely create and families can have fun together, all while absorbing the developmental benefits of learning through music in a group setting.”

Interested Halifax families can search for a class via http://www.joyfulsounds.ca/mira-royal-detective and register for the outdoor classes.

Families from all over Nova Scotia and beyond can enjoy the virtual option.

Joyful Sounds Music Studio joins other Kindermusik studios around the world who will be offering “Mira, Royal Detective Experiences” through early 2021.
