FALL RIVER: Like many businesses, The Fourth Lock in Fall River announced they were temporarily closing their dine-in service this week due to the recent spike in COVID19 cases in the Halifax region.

In a post on their Facebook page, the business located on Highway 2 near the Fall River Guardian, explained it as the following. They announced the proactive measure before the province required dine-in service at restaurants and bars to close for two weeks to help curtail the spike.

“To protect our community, staff, and their families, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close our dine-in service, due to the recent rise of COVID-19 cases,” the post said. “If you have already booked a table with us, we will honour your reservation and you will still be able to dine in (unless we are required to shut down).”

“Thank you for the continued support during these very challenging times.”

In a later post it said it was reopening Nov. 26 for takeout and delivery service only.

“Orders can be made anytime after 11am by calling (902) 861-1334. Credit card details will be taken with order. Pickup and delivery will be available Wednesday to Saturday from 4:30-7:30pm.”
