WINDSOR JUNCTION: The Lions Christmas Express committee would like to thank the St John’s United Church congregation for their support and contributions this year with school supplies.
Due to the generosity of the community, 45 children aged 4-17 received backpacks and all the supplies necessary to start a brand-new year at school.
In addition, the Cobequid Food security network provided each child with a bag of school snack.
This combination that will hopefully set the stage for a successful year.
“We appreciate all the support you provide for our wonderful community,” said Lions Christmas Express organizers to SJUC.
