BAYERS LAKE: Four local residents, including the provincial chief medical officer of health, are set to become like Spiderman–all for a good cause this weekend in Downtown Halifax.

Dr. Robert Strang; Krista Snow; MaryBeth Fleming from OT Health; and Councillor Steve Streatch are on the team together in the fundraiser for Make-A-Wish, set for Oct. 3. They are with other participants on the Rob & Neville’s Dropping Petals team.

Each participant has to raise $1,500 minimum in order to take part. Several of these participants had goals of close to or over $3,000.

This year, participants will get to rappel down to the ground below from the top of The Westin Halifax on Hollis Street.

The Rope for Hope fundraiser is usually held in July, but due to COVID 19 it was postponed.
