FALL RIVER: A Fall River baseball player earned recognition for her efforts with the N.S. girls U-14 Atlantic championship team.
Dylan MacLean earned the September Female Team Athlete of the Month award as put out by Sport Nova Scotia and sponsored by Cleave’s Source for Sports.
MacLean, 14, was instrumental to team (white) Nova Scotia’s gold metal win at the 14U Girls Atlantic Championships from September 7 until September 9 in St. John’s, N.L.
At the tournament, she was awarded Top Offensive Player and MVP. The stats she had for the event made her the most impressive player to ever participate in the tournament, Sport N.S. said.
