WAVERLEY: It’s that time of the year again—time to make plans to head to the Waverley Heritage Museum for tea time.

On Aug. 25, the museum will host it’s yearly tea and dessert in honour of it’s founder Annie (Blois) Smith at the museum, located on Rocky Lake Drive in Waverley.

The tea and dessert will run from 1 to 3 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $5 for adults and $2 for youth.

The Waverley Heritage Society maintains the Waverley Heritage Museum by holding fundraising events, such as the Annie and Wallace Memorial Tea and the Annual Duck Race during Gold Rush Days, which are scheduled for Sept. 4 to 8.

The Waverley Heritage Museum is open during the summer months and during Waverley Gold Rush Days. It may also be open by appointment in the winter time.
