MOUNT UNIACKE: The Uniacke District School (UDS) Home & School Association is inviting residents to shop local and support students at its inaugural UDS Home & School Harvest Market this fall.
The market will take place Sunday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Uniacke District School in Mount Uniacke.
The event will bring together local makers, artisans, small businesses, bakers, farms, crafters and community organizations for a day of shopping and community connection.

Visitors can expect a variety of vendors offering handmade goods, home décor, jewellery, artwork, baked goods, food, seasonal favourites and more.
Admission is by donation, with proceeds going toward the school’s Inclusive Playground Project and student initiatives.
Organizers are encouraging residents to mark their calendars, bring friends and family, and support local vendors while helping raise funds for students at Uniacke District School.
