FLETCHERS LAKE: RCMP say a weapon was used in a supper-time break-and-enter into a home in Fletchers Lake on Sept. 25.

Cpl. Lisa Croteau, of Halifax District RCMP, provided details into an incident reported on the HRM’S Crime Mapping website tool. The Laker News inquired for further details after seeing the break-and-enter with just the nearby location on the tool.

It was one of two break-and-enters that were reported to police on Sept. 25 that occurred in the area.

Cpl. Croteau said police responded to a report of three men breaking into the home on Hwy 2 at around 6 p.m.

“One man was carrying a weapon,” she said.

She said that the three men left the area in a white truck prior to police arriving on scene.

The investigation is ongoing, said Cpl. Croteau. It’s being led by the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section.
