FLETCHERS LAKE: Arlene MacAskill gets ready to dump numbered rubber ducks into the Shubenacadie Canal at Lock 4 for a duck race fundraiser, held May 12 in Fall River.
The fundraiser saw Heidi Carr’s duck win the race among the 60 ducks, winning herself $600 bucks.
The other half goes towards helping two local athletes represent the province at various sporting competitions. (Healey photos)
