ENFIELD: East Hants RCMP responded to 100 calls for service throughout the municipality during the period of March 16 to March 23.
The following two are the highlighted incidents provided by S/Sgt. Cory Bushell, district commander with East Hants RCMP.
On March 22, officers with the Enfield detachment were informed of damage to a vehicle. The vehicle was located in a parking lot in Enfield.
“According to the complainant, the vehicle was damaged the night before by two people who were wrestling,” said S/Sgt. Bushell.
Anyone with information on the identity of the would-be wrestlers is asked to call the East Hants RCMP at 902-883-7077 or Crime Stoppers.
Last week, local officers responded to 11 motor vehicle collisions from one end of the Municipality of East Hants to the other.
That number is double the normal weekly average, said S/Sgt. Bushell.
“Driving too fast for conditions, distracted driving or inattention were key contributing factors to many of the collisions,” he said.
He asks residents to please drive safely for everyone’s well-being.
