SASKATCHEWAN: The MP for Kings-Hants and Parliament Secretary to the Prime Minister and Premier of Saskatchewan made a friendly wager on Thursday.
With both provinces teams set to play each other at the Canada Games in St. John’s, NL, Kody Blois and Scott Moe made a little bet based on what province would win the game.
Blois said if Nova Scotia won then Moe would have to buy him a steak dinner next time he’s back in Saskatchewan.
If Saskatchewan won Blois would have to buy Moe a lobster roll next time he’s down in the Maritimes.

Moe said that deal sounded great for “two old washed up, retired catchers.”
The two then shook on the bet.
The outcome: N.S. beat Saskatchewan 11-10 and it was two players with East Hants connections that led the way to the win.
Jack Miller scored to tie the game and Will Singer, formerly of Elmsdale but now calls Shortts Lake home, scored the winning run.
Moe owes Blois a steak dinner the next time he’s in that province.
