Račice, Czech Rep.: It was an Olympic Hopes regatta to remember for one Cheema athlete.

Megan McFeters might have had to find extra space in her luggage for the trip home from the competition in Račice, Czech Republic after having a highly successful event.

In the final days of the event, McFeters won three medals, including a gold.

The other medals were two bronze medals.

In the C1 U-16 500 metre competition, McFeters took bronze, while fellow Cheema athlete Meg Thompson grabbed silver.

In the women’s U16 C-1, 200 metre race, McFeters came home with another bronze medal result.

McFeters teamed with Grace Theunissen in the C2 U-16 200 metre race to win gold.

Other athletes from Cheema also placed well, but these were the ones that we saw information about.
