ELMSDALE: Congratulations to Leno Ribahi, the lucky winner of the Tide Fest 50/50 jackpot, taking home $1,577.50.
The other 50 per cent of the proceeds will be donated to local East Hants food banks, including Shumilacke Food Bank, Caring & Sharing, Hants North, and Indian Brook, helping support families and individuals in our community.
Leno said he was happy to support an organization like Tide Fest through the 50/50 draw.
The raffle was operated through the Rafflebox platform, the same system used for the Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50.
Tide Fest thanks everyone who purchased tickets and helped make the fundraiser a success.
