LANTZ: A women’s hockey player from Lantz has been signed by the Saint Mary’s Huskies women’s hockey team, the squad’s head coach Chris Larade announced.
Ellie Isenor, a five-foot-five forward, joins the Huskies out of the Lindsay Construction Surge (Maritime Major Girls Hockey League) and Hants East High School.
In the 2025-26 MMGHL season, Isenor led the Surge in scoring with 52 points (19 goals and 33 assists) in 40 games played.
Isenor previously played at the Bourget Collège Prep U18 hockey program for the 2024-25 season, scoring 41 points (24 goals and 17 assists), in 49 games.

“Ellie is a very cerebral player that good possession skills and the ability to create plays in tight areas,” said Larade.
“Her ability to see the ice offensively is very unique and we expect her to be a go-to player as her speed and strength continue to develop.”
Isenor describes herself as an energetic and hard working forward.
“I’m looking forward to making memories and playing hockey at Saint Mary’s,” said Isenor.
Isenor will be studying a Bachelor of Commerce at Saint Mary’s.
