ELMSDALE: A Hants County senior is facing two charges following a hit-and-run in Elmsdale on Dec. 5.

One of the incidents S/Sgt. Cory Bushell reported in his weekly From the Cruiser column saw East Hants RCMP officers from the Enfield detachment respond to the scene.

“We were able to track the suspect vehicle down which had left a fender bender upon police being called,” said S/Sgt. Bushell.

“The driver advised he left because he did not have insurance.”

The 63-year-old man from Hants County is now facing charges for leaving the scene of an accident without providing his driver’s license, and driving without insurance.
