Fall River woman receives RBC Women Entrepreneurship awards nomination

FALL RIVER: A Fall River business owner that stages and redesigns homes is among the recently announced RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award nominees.

Lori Butler, who owns and operates Upstaged Home Staging & ReDesign in Fall River, received the news recently.

“So very honoured to have been nominated for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards by Women of Influence,” Butler said in a Facebook post.

The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards is the premier national awards program celebrating the achievements of the most successful in this inspiring group.

For 28 years, the awards have shone a spotlight on Canada’s most accomplished and impactful women who have demonstrated excellence — from economic growth to social change, from local to global reach, across multiple sectors.

Butler said she registered her company in November 2017. It has come with plenty of mixed emotions.

“Since then I have had many moments of great joy and sheer panic,” said Butler. “I love what I do and the people I work with.

“I am truly grateful for the recognition and humbled to be included in such a prestigious group.”
