LANTZ/LOWER SACKVILLE: The East Hants Ryson Construction Jr C Penguins are gearing up for a busy weekend of hockey early in the new season.
After opening the season with two wins, the Pens will look to push that to four wins as they have games in Lower Sackville on Friday and in Lantz on Saturday.
The team will look to snipers Braden Martin, Connor Lloyd, Dylan Rafuse for offense and the goalie tandem of Gabe Rendell and Nolan McLauchlan in net to provide the stops.
Martin and Lloyd sit atop the points leaderboard after the two games and will look to add to it this weekend.
Against Sackville Knights at the Sackville Arena in Lower Sackville, puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
On Saturday, the Pens host the Admirals Hockey Club in a 5:30 p.m. game at the Keith Miller Arena in the East Hants Sportsplex in Lantz.
