WAVERLEY: The Bedford Oilers Peewee C rec team are the MMHL City champions.
The Oilers defeated Cole Harbour 7-1 in the championship final on April 7. They defeated Sackville Sharks 2-1 in an exciting shootout on April 6.
There are several players from the Fall River; Hammonds Plains; Waverley; Wellington; and Bedford areas that suit up on the team.
The team manager is Stefanie Redden, while the coaches are also from the Waverley/Fall River area.
Among those are: Keegan Lane; Nate Hollett; Simon Atie; Simon Doucet; Quinn Luchier; Gavin Foster; Parker Jecks; Aidan Chisholm; Keane MacKenzie; Jack Redden; Dylan Smiley; Cohen Barton; and Parker Simpkin.
