ELMSDALE: An Elmsdale man might be counting his lucky stars after a collision between the ATV he was driving and a vehicle on Hwy 214 on Jan 15.
East Hants RCMP S/Sgt. Cory Bushell said police responded to a 911 call.
“The investigation revealed the ATV was attempting to cross the highway and failed to yield the right of way to a passing motorist, causing the collision,” said S/Sgt. Bushell. “Fortunately, no serious injury resulted.
He said the ATV operator, an Elmsdale man, was given a formal warning.
The call was one of the 93 officers responded to during the past week, and among those included as part of the From the Cruiser column.
