FALL RIVER/SACKVILLE: The Tri County Rangers saved their biggest comeback for the championship game.
Trailing the Halifax Mets 4-0, the Rangers refused to go away and chipped away at the deficit before erupting for four runs in the seventh inning to complete a dramatic 9-7 victory and capture the U13 A provincial championship.
The comeback began in the third inning when the Rangers scored twice to cut into the Mets’ lead.
Tri County added another two runs in the sixth, setting the stage for a thrilling final inning.

Aidan Burry was named the championship game’s MVP after delivering a key two-run RBI during the Rangers’ comeback.
After finding themselves in an early 4-0 hole, the Rangers showed plenty of determination, battling back inning by inning before putting together the decisive rally in the seventh to secure the provincial title.
