WAVERLEY: RCMP are seeking the public’s help identifying a vehicle and person of interest in a suspicious incident that was harrowing for one young woman.

Cpl. Lisa Croteau, with Halifax District RCMP, relayed information on the incident.

She said at approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 2, an older dark pick-up truck with tinted windows tailgated a woman in her vehicle on Waverley Rd.

“The truck attempted to pass her but drove beside her and then dropped back in behind her,” said Cpl. Croteau. “The truck followed for about 20 minutes while the woman tried to evade it.”

The woman pulled over to make a call, the truck drove by her, noticed her on the phone and drove away.

The driver is described as a white male, 25 to 35-years-old and wearing a ball cap.
