FALL RIVER: HRM is advising of road closure of a portion of Lockview Road in Fall River for work to the pavement.
In a notice, they say from High Road to Old Lochview Court will be closed except for local traffic and emergency vehicles on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 (weather permitting) between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The road will reopen overnight, says the release from HRM.
The work is for pavement rehabilitation to that section of the road. It supports HRM’s 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
No parking will be permitted on the road during this work.
The sidewalk will remain open. A marked detour will be in place while work is underway.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
