Road construction planned for Hwy 2 in Fall River on May 20

FALL RIVER: The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents road construction will take place near 3175 Highway 2 (Fall River), on May 20.

Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with stop-and-go traffic.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.

Construction During COVID-19: Due to COVID-19, the municipality is unable to hand deliver construction notices to residents.

Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures, however, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. 

If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to provide at least two metres of physical distancing.
