WALTON AREA: Two people have been pronounced dead after a single-vehicle collision near Walton.
Windsor RCMP responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 30 from a passing motorist who noticed a vehicle down in a deep ditch near the intersection of Hwy 215 and Goshen Road. Fire and EHS also responded to the scene.
First responders found a single vehicle was involved in a collision and two people are deceased. Investigation is in the initial stages.
A collision re-constructionist was called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Hwy 215 was closed in both directions from Bancroft Road to the east and New Cheverie Road to west. It has since reopened.
