MUSQUODOBOIT VALLEY: A 24-year-old Musquodoboit Valley woman was arrested by RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment officers for impaired driving following an mvc in Brookvale on Sept. 18.
A police spokesperson said that at approximately 9 p.m., RCMP and fire services responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the 100-200 block of Canada Rd.
Upon arrival, officers located a Mazda 3 that had hit a power pole, resulting in a power outage. An officer spoke with the driver and observed signs of impairment.
A roadside breath test was given to the driver, which resulted in a fail.

The driver, a 24-year-old woman from Brookvale, was arrested for impaired driving.
She was transported to the Enfield RCMP Detachment where she provided two breath samples registering 150 mg% and 140 mg%.
The woman was released and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
