ENFIELD: RCMP are reminding the travelling public that with schools back that means school buses are back on the road too.
Sgt. Scott MacRae said the reminder from East Hants officers comes after two drivers were charged in the past couple of weeks for passing a school bus with their red lights activated.
“Drivers must stop and utilize caution for children may be crossing the road,” said Sgt. MacRae.
He also said there were 11 other Summary Offence Tickets issued by officers this past week.
The tickets were issued for: speeding, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failing to obey traffic sign/signal, and driving to the left of solid double line among other things.
