The Red Dress project was created to recognize and remember the more than 1,000 Missing and Murdered Aboriginal women and girls in Canada. It started in Manitoba in 2010. In October, it extended to Lockview High in Fall River. Mi’kmaq Indigenous Student Support Worker, Denise Digiosia was instrumental in launching it at the school and int he process educating the students. (Submitted photo)
