ENFIELD: The Island Boys brought their musicianship to the Enfield Legion in support of the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame (NSCMHF.ca) on Sept. 7.

This talented group backed up some of our great local talent here in East Hants & Colchester County.

Enfield’s Tammy Adams, always a crowd pleaser, was singing some of the great country classics for the afternoon. She shared the stage with young up and coming country artist from Stewiacke, Nicholas Langille.

At the age of just 15, Nicholas shows a promising future in not only his vocal ability but also as a multi- instrumentalist.

One of our very own Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Famers, John Simms of Truro, entertained the crowd with his strong vocals and prolificate song-writing talent.

The NSCMHF Board of Directors would like to thank the Enfield Legion Branch 133 for their generous support of our first show in Enfield.

Many local businesses, artists & artisans, along with NSCMHF Inductees and supporters donated many items for our successful silent auction.

As a non-profit organization, we at the NSCMHF greatly appreciate the support. Proceeds from these local shows held throughout the province are used to support their Annual Ceremony & Dinner.

This year the event will be held at the Inn on Prince Hotel in Truro on September 27th. Paul Kennedy, Gordie Giles, Art Fitt and Mike Surette are this year’s inductees.

There are limited tickets available. Please see their website or FB page for further information. Note there are no tickets available at the door for this event.
