LOWER SACKVILLE: A 57-year-old Upper Sackville man has died as a result of a single-vehicle collision on Wednesday night in Lower Sackville.
RCMP say they are investigating the fatal collision that occurred at approximately 7:36 p.m. on Freer Lane.
Police, EHS, and local fire responded to the call.
Officers learned a Mitsubishi RVR was travelling towards the Cobequid Community Health Centre when the vehicle went off the road and into the ditch.Â
The driver and lone occupant, a 57-year-old man from Upper Sackville, was pronounced deceased at the scene.Â

An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the crash and Freer Lane was closed for several hours. It has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
