ENFIELD: Over the past week, officers with East Hants RCMP responded to 130 calls for service.

The following is some of the highlighted responses as provided by East Hants RCMP Sgt. Scott MacRae.

SUSPICIOUS WOMAN IN MOUNT UNIACKE

East Hants RCMP were conducting proactive patrols in Mount Uniacke and saw a suspicious female.

Police then heard glass breaking and saw the female kicking the glass of a local business to gain entry.

Officers arrested the 39-year-old female on site for Break and Enter and Fail to Comply with a Release order.

MVC’S

Police said there were five traffic collisions that they responded to.

RCMP are reminding the residents of East Hants to obey posted speed limits.

They also wish motorists to pay attention to the road/road conditions.

TRAFFIC OFFENCES:

East Hants RCMP issued several Summary Offence Tickets during this period, including tickets for speeding, not displaying number plates for current registration year, and displaying a number plate issued for another vehicle.

It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle they are driving has up to date registration, Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection, and insurance.
