WINDSOR JUNCTION: Jazz the horse is getting some horse loving from a caring social entrepreneur from Fall River.

Sarah MacDonald-Miles, who runs Links of Love out of her parents’ home on Concord Avenue, recently presented a cheque to Lindsay Clark, owner of Keough Lane Stables in Windsor Junction. MacDonald-Miles takes lessons and helps out at Keough Lane.

Recently, Jazz came to the barn in early February and had to be rushed to the vet college with a severe impaction. A couple of weeks later Jazz came home, but that left them with a huge vet bill. Since them they have undertaken some fundraising.

MacDonald-Miles thought she would do her part with the sale of bracelets in February.

“I dropped off a cheque from the sale in late March to Lindsay, it was the least I could do to help her out,” said MacDonald-Miles speaking fondly of Jazz. “She is doing much better, but it will be a long road to recovery for her.

She was very appreciative of the community’s support in purchasing bracelets so she could help out Jazz.

“Thank you everyone again for you help with this initiative,” she said. “I love horses so much I just had to do something to help Jazzie Girl.”
