HRM launches Rural Recreation strategy survey

HALIFAX/BEAVER BANK: The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to participate in a survey to help inform the Rural Recreation Strategy.

The purpose of the Rural Recreation Strategy is to provide analysis on future needs for parks and recreation services in the rural areas of the municipality.

For the purpose of this survey, “rural” is defined as those areas outside the urban transit boundary.

These areas include the Musquodoboit Valley Region, Peggys Cove, Eastern Shore Region, St. Margarets Bay, Upper Sackville, and Sambro.

The survey is open until Sunday, May 23, 2021 online.

A print version of the survey will be available at local gas stations, convenience stores and grocery stores.
