LANTZ: The East Hants Junior Penguins are set to drop the puck on the 2025-26 Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League season.
The Pens will host the Lumberjacks in a 7:30 p.m. game to open the season at the Keith Miller Arena in the East Hants Sportsplex in Lantz.
East Hants has made some moves in the lead up to the season starting.
The Pens announced the signings of the following players:
Forward Noah Maccallum-Stokes, who suited up with Steele Subaru Major Midget recording 16 points in 35 games.
Defenceman Bryce Stewart, who wore the A with DHS in the HMHSHL scoring 18 points and capturing a regional title.
The team has also made a trade sending goalie Jakob Koziel to the Lumberjacks for future considerations.
