No “fowling” around in the Kennetcook area

UPPER KENNETCOOK: RCMP officers attended a fowl call on Hwy 236 in Upper Kennetcook on Jan. 26.

I guess these birds never heard the joke why did the chickens cross the road… to get to the other side because they just stayed in the middle of the road!

Cars had to come to a complete stop to avoid anyone’s feathers from being ruffled.

S/Sgt. Cory Bushell, with East Hants RCMP, said officers from the Enfield detachment attended and spoke to the owner of the hens.

They asked the owner to educate their chickens about road safety.
